Gautam Adani Bhutan Visit: Indian conglomerate Gautam Adani is planning to expand the green energy project in not only India but also in foreign countries to increase his business. During his Bhutan tour, Gautam Adani met Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and signed an MOU to install a 570 MW hydroelectric plant. On 17 June, Gautam Adani wrote on his “X” account (formerly Twitter) that he has agreed to install a green hydro plant in Chuka with Bhutan’s Druk Green Power Corporation.
Gautam Adani praised the PM of Bhutan for the infrastructure initiatives and expressed his excitement to work on hydro and other infrastructure projects in the coming time in the country. Apart from this, PM Narendra Modi also inaugurated a modern hospital in Chimpu, Bhutan on 22 March, built in collaboration with India.
