Red Wedding Look: Films and film stars have played an essential role in altering the perception and preferences of the brides for their D-day look. The soft pink bridals of Kiara Advani, Athiya Shetty, Anushka Sharma, and the like gave birth to the trend of pastel bridal looks. Then came a flair of OG actresses embracing the classic red for their big day again turning the wheel of trends. Aditi Rao Hydari, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, and their likes made a case for the invincible red lehenga look.
Aditi Rao Hydari got hitched with Siddharth in September. The two opted for a traditional wedding wearing classical ivory and gold ensembles. The two shared photos of a second wedding in Rajasthan on Wednesday where Aditi stunned in a vibrant red ensemble from the shelves of Sabyasachi.
Aditi opted for a plain red lehenga adorned with heavy accessories on her head and face. From a mathapati to a huge nath, she let her accessories do all the talking while the lehenga boasted a statement embroidered lehenga.

Her look was also friendly for winter brides, as Aditi opted for a full-sleeved and crew neck blouse keeping her warm too.
Nayanthara married Tamil director Vignesh Shivan in June 2022. She opted for a lacey embroidered saree from Monica and Karishma's Jade for her wedding. Her saree stood out for the finer details of the embroidery laden on it with a closed neck and full-sleeved blouse. For accessories, she went for the classic contrast of emerald on crimson, with a diamond and emerald studded seven-layered necklace, bangles, matching choker, stud earrings, and mang tika. Her sheer red veil added a layer of softness to the less contrasting heavy fabric of the overall look.

Patralekha kept her wedding look sleek and simple. She wore a red saree from the house of Sabyasachi featuring traditional ethnic motifs embroidered all over it in golden work. Her look was modest and striking, with a red dupatta for the veil and a third-fourth length of blouse sleeves offering coverage for warmth needed in winter.
Deepika Padukone had a Punjabi-Sindhi wedding in an all-red and gold lehenga. She went for a red canvas featuring heavy gold embroidery on a lehenga paired with a matching red dupatta. Stealing the show was her stack of jewelry. She opted for stack necklaces and bangles with chunky mang tika and big earrings. Her matching dupatta made a perfect layer of insulation for a winter wedding.
