AFCAT Exam: Know how to apply for the AFCAT Exam and important documents required during the application

AFCAT Exam:

There are various ways to enter into National Defence Academy (NDA), while most of those require the candidate to clear an entrance exam. There are three branches of the National Defence Academy (NDA) namely- Indian Air Force, Indian Armed Forces and Indian Naval Forces. And different types of exams are conducted to admit candidates into each branch. So in this article further, we will gain knowledge about the documents which are required during the application process of the AFCAT exam and how to apply for the AFCAT Exam which is conducted by the Indian Air Force. 

 

How to apply for the AFCAT Exam:

  • To apply for the AFCAT Exam, candidates are required to visit the official website of AFCAT which is, www.afcat.cdac.in
  • The candidates are then required to click on ‘Candidate login’ to sign-in.
  • Now, all the fresh candidates who haven’t registered earlier are required to click on “Not yet Registered? Register here.”
  • After registering successfully, candidates are required to fill the AFCAT application form.
  • To fill the AFCAT Application form, candidates have to log in through their registered email ID and password.
  • After this, candidates have to select the type of entry, AFCAT, NCC Special entry for the flying batch.
  • Now, click on the “Application form filling” and fill in the required credentials. While entering the credentials, students have to choose the course of their choice and enter their GATE score.
  • The next step requires the candidates to upload the prescribed documents.
  • And the final step requires the candidates to pay the application fee through online UPI, Net Banking, credit card or other online payment options. 

 

Documents required to apply for the AFCAT Exam:

Some of the important documents required while filling the application form for the AFCAT exam are mentioned below:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Scanned images of the photograph, signature and left thumb impression
  • Marksheets of Class 12 and graduation/diploma/Integrated Post Graduation
