Ahmedabad Plane Crash: An Air India flight-AI71 bound for London, crashed shortly after taking flight from the Ahmedabad airport on Thursday. The flight carrying 242 passengers was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner known for its safety, comfort, and advanced technology. The Dreamliner is one of Boeing’s most advanced planes that flew for the first time in 2009 and entered service in 2011, with a history of flying more than 1 billion passengers to date.
Made with more than 50% carbon fiber, it is popular for its lightweight build, fuel efficiency, better air quality, and comfort it offers the passengers.
