Ahmedabad Plane Crash: Boeing Whistleblower’s Claim About Compromised ‘Structural Integrity’ Goes Viral

Ahmedabad Plane Crash:  Amidst the ongoing investigation into the catastrophic failure of the Air India flight AI171 minutes after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport, a claim from the past from Boeing’s engineer is going viral. 

Sam Salephour, a veteran engineer of Boeing, addressed the press in 202,4, claiming that the compromised ‘structural integrity’ of the plane can “lead to a catastrophic failure.”

He said, “I’m not doing this to bring Boeing down… I’m doing this because I want to prevent a crash.” He further remarked about the workers “jumping on aircraft parts” to forcefully put them in alignment. He remarked, “That's not how you build an airplane.”
