Well, global truck makers like Volvo are already making AC cabins. This has been debated in India for many years and now it has been made mandatory for Indian companies to make AC cabins from 2025.

Gadkari's big announcement

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that he has approved the proposal for AC cabins for truck drivers. Officials say that 18 months is necessary to upgrade the industry. The proposal was first moved by the Ministry of Road Transport in 2016.
