Air India News: According to the Economic Times report, TATA’s airline company Air India Engineering Services Limited, which supports Air India, has decided to go on strike from 23rd April. The technicians are on strike for salary increments, promotions, and other demands. All India Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Union has demanded all its demands in a letter written to the CEO.
According to the union’s letter, the employees have not received a promotion for the last 7 years. Apart from this, the temporary employees have also been asked to provide the same treatment as permanent employees. It is said that about 75% of the company’s workforce is temporary. According to the media reports, Air India is the second largest airline in the country in terms of passenger transport.
