The fire incident was captured on camera by a passenger on his mobile phone at the airport, prompting the airline staff to take immediate action. According to reports, the flight had 282 passengers, including women and children. The emergency protocol was immediately activated. The fire department responded quickly and extinguished the fire, ensuring that all passengers were safely evacuated. No injuries have been reported.

What Caused The Fire?

The Federal Aviation Administration and Delta Air Lines said the Atlanta-bound airliner had scarcely left the runway when one of its two engines caught fire. The FAA has started an investigation, which had flames shooting from the right engine and was caught on a passenger's cellphone in the terminal.
