After a long gap of almost 20 years, today Union Home Minister Amit Shah has broken his silence on the 2002 Gujarat riots. The Home Minister told in an interview what happened during these riots. Shah said that all the allegations against the PM and the BJP government regarding the Gujarat riots were politically motivated.
During this, Amit Shah said that Narendra Modi has been consuming poison for the last 18 years. He said that during the Gujarat riots of 2002, I have seen him from close quarters suffering this pain. Because the judicial process was going on, despite everything being true, we did not say anything.
In his interview, Amit Shah said that propaganda has been being done against Modi and BJP for almost two decades. In this case, the Supreme Court has dismissed all the allegations. Amit Shah said that the statement of the Supreme Court proves that all the allegations in the Gujarat riots were politically motivated.
Amit Shah said in response to a question that the opposition says that the BJP benefits from the riots. On this, the Union Home Minister said that all these are useless things. After 2002, no riots were seen in Gujarat. Also, in the year 2014, when Modi ji became the Prime Minister, he did not allow the country to burn in the fire of riots. These are all useless things. Amit Shah also said that riots have stopped in the country after the BJP government came.
