The biographical sports-drama film Jhund has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead character of Vijay Barse and the mega star will be seen sharing the screen with Akash Thosar, Ganesh Deshmukh and Rinku Rajguru. Actor Vicky Kadian will be seen in the role of Vijay's son. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing the character of Vijay Barse who is a professor. He ultimately motivates thelocal street children and forms a football team. The film has sports as an integral theme.
Jhund Film Release Date and other Details
The film is a collaborative production of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment Pvt.Ltd and Aatpat Films. The film has been produced by a team of producers like Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni and Meenu Arora. The cinematography has been led by the cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti and the editing has been done by the duo Kutub Inamdar and Vaibhav Dabhade.
Another duo Ajay-Atul have composed the music and background score of the film. Initially, Jhund the film was scheduled to release on 20 September 2019, however the release got delayed for multiple reasons including Covid pandemic situation, finally the film will be released on 4 March 2022
