Animal Song Release: “Papa Meri Jaan” Starring Ranbir-Anil Kapoor Navigates Through The Rough Father-Son Relationship

Papa Meri Jaan Song Out: Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited movie of the year ‘Animal’ has already made an intriguing impression on the public. Whether the peculiar storyline or the brutal and ruthless avatar of Ranbir as a gangster, the movie has effortlessly piqued a significant amount of interest with the teaser, trailer, and songs. After the song “Satranga,” which featured Ranbir and Rashmika’s married life, the ups and downs, and their unhinged love for each other and their kids, the makers released the third song from the album “Papa Meri Jaan.” The song was released on Children’s Day, November 14th, portraying the complex relationship between parents and children. The song has a soulful melody and calming background music narrating the intricating and sensitive bond of a father and son.

Sung by Sonu Nigam, the heartwarming song narrates the father-son bond between Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor’s characters. This is the third song of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming thriller, written by Raj Shekhar and composed by Harshvardhan Rameshwar.“Papa Meri Jaan” portrays Balbir Singh’s (Anil Kapoor) absence from his son’s (Ranbir Kapoor) childhood. While Ranbir adores his father, his father is always preoccupied with his work, leaving little or no time for the young Ranbir, which clearly affects their relationship as Ranbir gets older, forming his father’s turbulent and sometimes toxic behaviour, but as a son, Ranbir is always willing to defend his father from harm. Shakti Kapoor has also made an appearance in the song. The album has so far released three songs, and each one of them has a slow melody, different from all the upbeat and dance numbers in recent times.

Animal Release Date Postponed Again?

Animal is set to hit the theatres on December 1st, starring an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, who will be sharing the screen for the first time. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Parineeti Chopra, and Tripti Dimri, among others. The movie was initially scheduled for August 11, 2023 release, but it was postponed to December 1, 2023, due to ongoing post-production work. Recently after the trailer release of “Sam Bahadur” starring Vicky Kaushal, the makers of ‘Animal’ were reportedly in talks to shift the release date once again to avoid clash with the Biopic film. Both the movies are set to release on 1st December. ‘Animal’ will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
