Apple CarPlay Update is awesome, know why you should WAIT

Apple has launched many products at WWDC 2022. The company has shown the future of Apple Car Play. The company does not want to limit it to just the infotainment system. Rather, on this you will get many controls and data of the car. 

It will be integrated into the main driving system of the cars. The company's new car dashboard software will send data like speed, fuel level and mileage to all driver screens of the vehicle. However, the software will not be fully revealed until the end of next year. Currently, the company is working on this with automakers like Ford, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz and Honda Motor.

New expected updates

The upcoming Apple software for the car dashboard will be more deeply integrated with the core driving system and vehicle hardware than its previous version. The previous versions of the software were mostly limited to the infotainment display of the vehicle. They used to do things like playing music and navigating a map, but the upcoming new software will allow drivers to adjust the temperature of the seats and cabin without having to exit the CarPlay app.

Many other automakers including Ford, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz and Honda Motor are working on it. Where in the previous version you used to get only features like navigation and music control. In the new software, users will be able to adjust the seat temperature and adjust the cabin temperature without activating the CarPlay app.

Will be launched by next year

Apple has said that more information related to this will come by the end of next year. Users will get trip info, climate control, weather, navigated information, fuel and battery level and other information on their screen. If reports are to be believed, Apple is working on an electric car of its own.

CarPlay is being used in more than 98 percent of vehicles since 2014. It is currently available in over 600 models around the world. Not only this, it is also present in some two wheelers. The tech giant claims that CarPlay is available in over 98 per cent of vehicles in the US, while 79 per cent of vehicle buyers are only looking at buying a vehicle that works with CarPlay.
