Article 370 Collection Day 2: Yami Gautam and Priyamani starrer ‘Article 370’ is currently running strongly in the theatres and managed to cross the Rs 10-Cr mark with its second-day collection. As expected, the movie witnessed a decent amount of increase in its Day 2 box office collection as compared to Day 1. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the movie, which was released on 23rd February, revolves around the Indian government’s decision to completely remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, amid political turmoil and terrorism in the state. The movie clashes with Vidyut Jamwal’s action thriller ‘Crakk’, which is currently lagging by a significant amount of earnings as compared to ‘Article 370’.

Article 370 Day 2 Collection

The political film grossed Rs 7.5 crore at the box office on Saturday, bringing its net domestic total to Rs 13.4 Cr, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. ‘Article 370’ had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 26.58 percent, with evening screenings reaching 44.39 percent. Article 370 started strong on its first day, with discounted tickets available due to Cinema Lovers’ Day, and grossed Rs 5.9 Cr. 


Article 370, starring Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi, and Arjun Rampal, was released in theaters alongside 'Crakk'. While the film opened to a respectable Rs 4.25 Cr, it only earned Rs 2.75 Cr on its second day. According to estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, the film managed to make Rs 7 Cr net in 2 days of its release. 

Article 370 Cast, Plot, Review

The movie received a good response from viewers, and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about the movie in his recent Jammu and Kashmir visit. While addressing the people, PM Modi said, “I have heard that a film on Article 370 is going to be released this week... It is a good thing as it will help people in getting correct information.” Article 370 is produced by Yami Gautam’s husband and filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the director of the blockbuster hit Uri: The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal. Yami Gautam received the much-deserved appreciation from the audience for her intense performance as an intelligence officer of NIA. Apart from Yami, the movie also has the key roles of Priyamani, Kiran Karmarkar, and Arun Govil.
