Asha Bhosle’s Granddaughter Zanai Set to make her Bollywood debut, Shraddha Kapoor Sends Best Wishes
Zanai Bhosle Bollywood Debut: Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai is set to step into the world of glitz and glamour with a period drama. Zanai Bhosle will make her Bollywood debut with Sandeep Singh’s directorial debut inspired by the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. She will be essaying the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s wife. The news was announced by the veteran singer herself.
Asha Bhosle announces Zanai’s debut
Filmmaker Sandeep Singh (Swatantra Veer Savarkar) will be working on his next project, a period film on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, titled ‘The Pride of Bharat - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’. Zanai Bhosle will be seen playing the role of Rani Sai Bhonsale, the wife of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Asha Bhosle took to her X account to announce the debut of her granddaughter in cinema, where she wrote “I am truly overjoyed to see my lovely granddaughter @ZanaiBhosle joining the cinema world in the upcoming grand epic #ThePrideofBharat Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I sincerely hope that she claims her destined position in cinematic history and wish her and @thisissandeeps all the very best.”

Following her, the filmmaker also expressed his feelings after onboarding Zanai for the historical role. He said “l feel so honoured and absolutely privileged to be launching Zanai who is a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's family lineage and also shares her lineage with extremely brilliant and accomplished family, with the late Lata Mangeshkar Ji being her aunt and being Asha Bhosaleji's granddaughter. She is a proud Bhosle, who has already been gifted with a soulful voice and has an ear for music. But few know what a talented dancer and a skillful performer she is. She will do full justice to the character of Rani Sai Bai.”

Shraddha Kapoor sent her best wishes to cousin Zania on her instagram story. Sharing on her instagram story she penned “Meri behen filmon me aane wali haihum sabko entertain karne.
