A popular name among the students preparing for UPSC exams, Ojha boasts of a strong hold on education and aims to revolutionize and educate the country’s future force with his participation in the education field via politics as well.

He is an inspiration to his students himself as a former UPSC aspirant who fell short of fulfilling his dream because of his failure in the mains after having cleared the prelims.

Born on 3 July 1984 into a middle-class family, Ojha’s parents come from a humble background. His father is a postmaster, and his mother works as a lawyer who made many sacrifices to give their son a good education. He is a graduate of Fatima Inter College in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh.
Avadh Ojha holds a Bachelor's in History, Master's in Hindi Literature, LLB, Master's in Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Hindi Literature
Ojha’s different approach to life has always been rebellious for his parents but it motivated him to leave his parents’ nest to fly to Delhi with dreams of joining the Indian Administrative Services (IAS).
Not passing the mains exam did not break him, but turned his vision to help thousands of students like him who spend their lives preparing for India’s esteemed education.
Today, Ojha has earned himself the title of ‘Ojha Sir’ by his students for his relentless work in the field. He is the founder of IQRA IAS Coaching in Pune along with online lectures and notes on his phone app, and a chain of institutes in Delhi’s aspirant hubs like Mukherjee Nagar.
Ojha addressed the press after his joining thanking AAP. He said, “I thank Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia for giving me the opportunity to work for education by joining politics. Education is such a medium which is the soul of the family, society, and nation. Today, at the beginning of my political innings, I want to share this with you all. If I had to choose between politics and education, I would definitely choose education. By joining politics, the development of education is my best objective”
