Ayodhya Ram Mandir Darshan: UP Govt Launches ‘Holy Ayodhya App’ For Affordable Homestays

Ram Mandir Darshan: Ahead of the grand inauguration ceremony of the historical Ram Mandir on 22 January 2024, several invites have been sent to prominent personalities for attending the ceremony. It is expected that the newly built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will attract tourism to the city, creating new jobs and boosting the economy. As the opening ceremony would attract the masses, devotees are provided with a special app facility to book a comfortable stay while visiting the Ram Mandir. 

UP Govt Introduces Holy Ayodhya App

For the convenience of travellers to Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh government has released the “Holy Ayodhya App.” The app will help you in booking hotel rooms and homestays. Last Diwali, a lot of people virtually lit lamps in the Ayodhya temple using this app. One must need to submit a copy of an identity card to make a hotel reservation in Ayodhya using this app. In addition, the owner must submit a copy of his electricity bill, a character certificate, an Aadhaar card, a PAN card, a photo of the room, and two photos of the applying owner to be eligible for the Paying Guest Scheme. The app is developed in collaboration with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA).
