Azam Khan meets Chandrashekhar Azad after the attack, targets Yogi Government

03 Jul, 2023

On June 28 at Deoband, Uttar Pradesh, Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan, the national president of the Azad Samaj Party and chief of the Bhim Army, was attacked in broad daylight but nearly escaped. Azam Khan, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, travelled to Saharanpur on Sunday with his son Abdullah Azam to find out how Chandrashekhar was doing. Azam hugged Chandrashekhar and gave him a cheek pat right away. After meeting Chandrashekhar, Azam Khan vehemently denounced the BJP-led Government and the police hierarchy.

When speaking to the media with Azam Khan, Chandra Shekhar Azad expressed his dissatisfaction with the Saharanpur police's disclosure. He questioned the police inquiry by saying that they were even naming bullets and firearms before the ballistic report was out. In this circumstance, it is inevitable that concerns about the disclosure will arise. He claimed that the four attackers who were detained and whose names have not yet been released had come to kill him at whose command. The primary attackers have been cleared, but the mastermind may yet strike tomorrow.
