Baida: Sudhanshu Rai and Puneet Sharma Open About The Conception And Challenges of The Film

Baida:  Filmmakers Sudhanshu Rai and Puneet Sharma have collaborated for an upcoming sci-fi supernatural thriller titled ‘Baida’ slated to release in 2025. The film stars Sourabh Raaj Jain, Hiten Tejwani, and Tarun Khanna in the lead roles following a story of mystery, myth, and menace. 

Talking to Jagran, the filmmakers opened up about the conception and challenges of the film, Baida. 

Sudhanshu revealed that he got to know about a folklore where a man would sleep at night and wake in a field, on his holiday trip to Kerala. The anecdote became the seed for the conception of the film which he worked on with Puneet.

Sharma on the other hand shed light on the challenges of doing justice to the writing with the right cinematography. Conveying the vision of the writer to the audience without taking away its essence is of integral importance in Baida.
