BGMI is available to download on play store, bad news! You still can’t play; here is why

Battlegrounds Mobile India popularly known as BGMI is finally making a comeback in India, following a 10 month long ban. Krafton, the mastermind behind the Indian version of PUBG on Friday delivered an official statement quoting the same. The Developers also announced that BGMI will be made available on Google play store and Apple's App Store soon. Now as per the latest development on the upliftment of the ban BGMI is now available to be downloaded on Android mobile phone through play store and is yet to debut on IOS. However the problem is that despite its availability the gamers still can’t access the game here is why.

Why is BGMI not working?

For all those who want to download the game can directly go to the official website of BGMI where a link will redirect you to the download page. Some gamers complained that even after the successful installation they cannot play the game. Well there is a technical error at the backend and the company is fully aware about the issue. After many users flagged the issue, Krafton released a statement addressing the issue and said that the game is still in the testing process.

“Currently, the closed test track for BGMI is updated. Those who opted for a public test for the game before its launch are expected to get a message which takes them to play store for downloading the game. However, the link wont work and the game cannot be downloaded as the servers have been shut. We also understand that some other users who had not opted for the closed test are also getting this message. This is a technical error and we are working on resolving it.”

BGMI testing period starts

The game has been thoroughly examined to guarantee adherence to server location and data security regulations, prioritizing the safety of players and addressing concerns related to addiction. The Indian Government has imposed a requirement for BGMI's operations to resume in India, which involves successfully passing a testing phase. Krafton has recently declared the re-release of BGMI on app stores, but it will be available for a trial period of 90 days. Krafton has implemented several changes in the game as well as the sign of abidance. The company aims to follow the government's regulations to avoid any violations that could result in a subsequent ban.
