Poulomi Das Family & Education
Poulomi hails from Kolkata. The daughter of Gopal Chandra Das and Manisha Das, Poulomi was born on 5 January 1996 and went to St. Paul’s Cathedral Mission College. Before venturing into modeling and acting, she worked as a marketing director in a corporate firm and has also served as an assistant director. It was at her job as an AD where her boss suggested she try her hands at modeling. However, due to her personal challenges, she was not sure about it.

Poulomi has faced challenges due to her dark skin, and the societal pressures posed by it. Her surroundings also made her insecure about her complexion, which further impacted her confidence negatively. So when she started her journey as an ambitious model, she was faced with several disparities and rejection. Initially, even her parents were not in favor of her modeling as it would disrupt her studies.

But with her unwavering dedication and constant hard work, she made an impression on the judges of India’s Next Top Model Season 2 in 2016, where he was in the top 5 of all the contestants.
Following her fame in MTV’s show, she was offered a role in the show ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki' on Star Plus in the same year, followed by ‘Dil Hi To Hai’.
In 2020, she was seen as Purnima in the show ‘Kartik Purnima’. Her recognition on television paved the way for her on the OTT. She has been in numerous Hindi web series including ‘Bekaaboo 2’ (2021), ‘Hai Taubba’ (2021), and ‘Jehanabad-of Love & War’ (2023).
