Bihar: Liquor mafia attacked the team of Excise Department, broke the car during the raid

There is news of an attack on the Excise Department team that arrived in Bihar to conduct raids against the liquor mafia. During this, his car was broken into and the officers were also injured. According to the officials of the Excise Department, the incident happened late at night. Half a dozen jawans including an ASI Mohan Ram were injured in this attack by the villagers. The product team had to run for life after the villagers attacked. 

At the same time, many soldiers were taken hostage by the villagers. On the information of the situation becoming uncontrolled, Inspector Abhinav Kumar of the Excise Department reached with a large number of police forces in more than a dozen vehicles. During this, the police of Kanti police station also reached the spot.

People were angry for many days 

According to local sources, there was a lot of anger among the local people due to the repressive policy of the Excise Department. People alleged that the police forcefully arrests anyone and sends them to jail. In which there was anger and resentment among the local people, under the guise of this anger, the liquor mafia attacked the police.

A day ago, hundreds of women and men had come on the road in protest against the Excise Department in Sadar police station area. Not only this, three excise vehicles were surrounded by jamming the main gate of Yadav Nagar. Then after the arrival of the Sadar police station in-charge, somehow the anger of the people cooled down.

Sub inspector gives statement

Regarding the incident, Excise Sub Inspector Abhinav Kumar said that on the basis of secret information, the team of Excise Department had reached Kothia village of Kanti police station area to conduct raids against illegal liquor. There the liquor mafia attacked the team of the excise department. In this, many people including the vehicle of the excise department are injured. Further action will be taken after investigating the matter.
