Akshay Kumar Movies: On his 57th birthday, Akshay Kumar announced his upcoming movie Welcome to the Jungle, the third installment of the Welcome franchise, by sharing a promo video of the film. After the teaser release of his upcoming 2023 movie Mission Raniganj, Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar is all set to hit big screens with a bunch of sequels and a unique storyline after the blockbuster hit OMG 2.

In the clip, the main cast is arranged in three rows, holding firearms while wearing military uniforms. When Disha tries to add a twist to the Welcome song as they all attempt to perform it, chaos erupts as Daler Mehndi and Mika begin singing Tunak Tunak Tun. Disha eventually ends her, and the entire group then starts singing together again.
Welcome 3 will be directed by Ahmed Khan, with an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, alongside Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and Vrihi Kodvara. The movie is in the pre-production phase and will hit theatres on December 20, 2024.

Mission Raniganj
The movie “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue” is inspired by the courageous act of the Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who carried out India’s coal mine rescue expedition and received various awards for his bravery. Along with Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, and others, Akshay will be portraying the role of Jaswant Singh Gill. On October 6, 2023, the film will be released in cinemas.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is stars the dynamic duo of Bollywood’s action icons Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is set to release in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is under pre-production and is scheduled for a 2023 Christmas release.
Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat
With Mahesh Manjrekar’s historical epic, “Vedhat Marathi Veer Daudle Saat,” Akshay Kumar will be making his Marathi debut. For the first time ever, Akshay will play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the big screen. The Marathi film depicts the great valour displayed by the seven Maratha officers of the Swarajya in 1674.
Housefull 5
Akshay Kumar confirmed the comeback of the Housefull franchise with the fifth chapter of the comedy-drama in June. The film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, will reunite Riteish Deshmukh and Akshay Kumar, but the rest of the cast is yet to be confirmed. The film will be released in theatres on Diwali next year.
