Some people do experience and live a dreamlike existence despite the repercussions of getting married and converting to their religion. From Bollywood to Television actors, many have given up their faith in order to find true love, regardless of their reputations, popularity, or success.

Here are some of the popular Bollywood and TV celebrities who have changed their religion with or without any reason.

Vivian Dsena

Vivian Dsena, who was last seen in Colors’ Shakti astitva ek ehsaas ki with Rubina Dilaik, has talked about marrying his Egyptian lover. Last year, Vivian married Egyptian journalist Nouran Aly. For quite some time, reports about him converting to Islam circulated online. To put a stop to such suspicions, Vivian revealed that he made the choice in 2019 and has been following it since he found peace in it.

Dipika Kakar

‘Sasural Simar Ka’ star Dipika Kakar Ibrahim initially married pilot Raunak Samson. Unfortunately, they divorced after only a few months in 2015. She eventually fell in love with her co-star on the set of Sasural Simar Ka, Shoaib Ibrahim. Once she converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza, the pair got married.

Dharmendra

According to reports, Dharmendra converted to Islam in 1979. When he fell in love with actress Hema Malini, he was married to Prakash Kaur. He didn’t want to divorce his wife, but the Hindu Marriage Laws prohibited him from marrying again. As a result, he converted to Islam and married Hema. He has kept two distinct families since then. It is stated that the actor had no choice but to change his religion in order to validate his marriage to Hema Malini because there were so many objections during his second marriage.

Amrita Singh

Amrita Singh was raised by Sikh and Muslim parents. With Betaab, she made her Bollywood debut in 1983. Prior to her marriage to actor Saif Ali Khan, a Muslim by birth, Amrita converted to Islam. Having been married for thirteen years, they divorced in 2004. Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif’s current wife, has not, however, embraced Islam.

Sharmila Tagore

Padma Bhushan awardee actress Sharmila Tagore has also converted to Islam. She fell in love with late cricketer Mansoor Ali Pataudi and converted to Islam before marrying him. She was born a Hindu, but after her marriage, she changed her name to Ayesha Begum. The couple has three children: actor Saif Ali Khan, jeweler Saba Ali Khan, and actress Soha Ali Khan.

AR Rahman

AR Rahman is a music composer, singer-songwriter, and music producer who was born with the name AS Dileep Kumar, a Hindu. He later turned to Islam, though. The musician’s younger sister’s critical illness led to his introduction to Qadiri Islam. The religion’s principles and beliefs charmed him. Sufism had an impact on his mother, who had been raised in an Islamic home before getting married.

Rakhi Sawant

The newest name on the list is Rakhi Sawant. She married Adil Khan Durrani after adding the name “Fatima” to her own. She also disclosed her intention to marry her businessman lover Adil by converting to Islam.
