The dimple girl of Bollywood, ruling the iconic 00s era, Preity Zinta is the girl’s girl in the film industry, from playing iconic roles in ‘Veer Zara’, ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’, Dil Se, and the list goes on. The actress, who is currently cheering for her IPL team Punjab Kings, and in the midst of this, took to her Instagram to share about her coming back to Bollywood, while sharing photos from the sets of “Lahore 1947.” As soon as the actress posted the news, fans couldn’t hold their excitement and flooded the comment section with best wishes for her much-awaited comeback alongside actor Sunny Deol. 

Farida Jalal

Remember Sushma “Nani” from Shararat? Playing the role of Shararat’s Nani, Farida Jalal is all set to make her comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, and recently made a rare apperance at the premiere of the series. Known as “Bollywood ki Nani,” Farida has played iconic characters in movies like ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘DDLJ’ and TV shows inlcuding ‘Shararat’ and ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh.’ Seeing her in different avatar in Bhansali’s enigmatic grandeur will be worth waiting for.

Fardeen Khan

‘Fida’ actor Fardeen Khan will be making his comeback with Bhansali’s debut OTT series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. After a long hiatus of more than a decade, the actor will also be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu in the ucpoming movie ‘Khel Khel Mein’. Fardeen Khan’s return has been counted as one of the most unexpected, and fans can’t wait to see him ruling the screens with his in-depth acting skills once again.  

Manisha Koirala

Manisha has become the talk of the town since her grand comeback announcement with Bhansali’s Heeramandi, the ‘Lajja’ actress will be seen as “Mallikajaan” in the uppcoming series after battling with ovarian cancer in 2012. Seems like Bhansali’s debut has a connection with Koirala, as the actress collaborated with the director for his directorial debut ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’ along side Salman Khan in 1996, and the actress is now one of the leading ladies in Bhansali’s OTT debut series too. 

Raveena Tandon

Raveena Tandon, one of the OG queens of the 90s hit Bollywood era, made her much-anticipated return after four years with the thriller Maatr (2017) and received praise for her leading role in the Netflix crime thriller series Aranyak (2021), winning a Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actress. Tandon played a supporting role in her highest-grossing film, K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022).

Sushmita Sen

The epitome of beauty, Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen has been thrilling fans with her comeback on OTT with Emmy nominated series ‘Aarya’ after a long 8 years break, ans also bagged lead role in the biographical drama ‘Taali’. The actress recently went through a near-to-death experience after suffering from a massive heart attack, but continued to rule the OTT as she did it back in the 90s.
