Veteran Divas on the couch 

Exuding grace and charisma on the Koffee couch this week were the 70s divas, Zeenat Aman and Neetu Kapoor. The two brought back the nostalgia and sneak peeks with them. Kapoor shared discernment on her relationship with the late actor Rishi Kapoor and his equation with his kids and family. She described him as a ‘strict boyfriend’ who maintained an arm’s distance from his loved ones struggling to express his love for them. However, in his time in New York fighting cancer, that distance wall broke and the couple had the best years of togetherness. 

Zeenat Aman talked about her Instagram account and called the platform a space to be an authentic self without any filters or third hand of another being. She uses her platform to express herself and connect with people. 

 

Merry Christmas released

Sriram Raghavan’s neo-noir featuring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi was released in theaters today. The slow-burn neo-noir black comedy immerses its viewers in the chasm of death and darkness. The unpredictable plot of the movie leaves you on edge trying to untangle the chaos that upsurges. The actors have been lauded for their spectacular performance and the audience is overall showering positive reviews.     

Killer Soup released on Netflix 

The dark comedy featuring Konkona Sen Sharma and Manoj Bajpayee was released on Netflix on 11 January. Written by Abhishek Chaubey the mind-bending psychological thriller is told with a blend of humour and quirkiness.

Konkona and Bajpayee’s compelling performance is worth all the praise the audience has showered them with.    

Nayanthara starrer ‘Annapoorni’ hurts religious sentiment 

‘Annapoorni’ starring Nayanthara has been revoked from the giant OTT platform for hurting the sentiment of the religious community. The makers of the film also issued an apology. 

Ramesh Solanki, the man who filed a complaint against the movie mentioned in a tweet on X that the movie calls lord Ram a ‘meat eater’ taking an ‘anti-Hindu’ stance on the god whose Pran Pratishta is awaited in the country on 22, January 2024. 

Animal success party

Team ‘Animal’ hosted a majestic bash celebrating the film’s success on January 6 in a hotel in Juhu. The party witnessed the cast of the movie in attendance including, Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri.

Alia Bhatt also made an appearance in a low-plunged blue dress with husband Ranbir. Triptii looked absolutely breathtaking a black bodycon gown with open locks.

The movie was released in theaters on December 1 and has minted over Rs. 900 crores worldwide as per the reports.
