BookMyShow Releases Statement In Response To Kunal Kamra Asking Them To Not ‘Delist’ Him

Kunal Kamra Controversy:  Online ticketing platform BookMyShow has released a statement in response to Kunal Kamra’s open letter asking the platform to not ‘delist’ him.

The platform has cleared that they have not delisted him from their platform as they work as a neutral ticket booking platform only in compliance with the show organizers and venues. They emphasized that their role was limited to only facilitating the tickets of the live shows and artists. 

The incident has taken place in the light of the current controversy around Kamra where people of certain political ideologies are upset about his remarks on Maharashtra’s  Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Since then many shows of the comedian have been cancelled due to the ongoing conflict.
