Business News: Airbus has given a contract to an Indian company to make all the doors of its A220 aircraft as an important decision for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. This contract has been given to Bengaluru-based Dynamatic Technologies. This company was already making flap-trap beams for Airbus A330 and A320 aircraft. This contract is the largest export contract for any Indian aerospace company and the second largest contract given to an Indian supplier for the construction of doors for Airbus aircraft.
In 2023, Airbus signed a contract to manufacture cargo doors for its A320 aircraft. In January 2024, it awarded Tata Advanced Systems Limited the contract to manufacture bulk and cargo doors for A320 aircraft in 2023. As a result, Dynamatic Technologies' stock has recently increased in value. On February 8th, Dynomatic Technologies' stock rose by 2.39% to Rs 7,199. In the last month, the share has returned 34% to its investors.
