Chahatt Khanna Exclusive Interview: ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ famed actress Chahatt Khanna is a successful entrepreneur and a mother of two lovely children. As she evolves in her ventures of business and showbiz she opened up about the misconception about pap cultures and the casting couch in the industry in regard to the concern for women’s safety in India. 

The reality of casting couch and pap culture 

Mumbai is considered comparatively safe for women but there is an ugly side to the film industry where harassment in the name of work opportunity is still relevant i.e., casting couch. Khanna’s view however is that the casting couch is ‘mutually consensual’ and hence not a way of violation. Similarly, on pap culture, she said that celebrities call paps on their own so they cannot be blamed for any inappropriate pictures or videos because that’s how celebs encash on it
