Chinese Student Asked To Remove Pants For Approval of Sick Leave Due to Period Pain; Netizens Outraged

Period Leave:  A college student in Beijing, China, was asked to remove her pants when she asked for sick leave due to unbearable period pain, a policy that the college defended as a measure to avoid misuse of sick leaves. 

A female student from Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology raised her voice against a humiliating practice of asking the students to strip their pants to prove their period pain and approval of sick leave. 

The revelation has left the netizens outraged for harking upon the dignity of students and gendered insensitivity.
