Citroen C3 - Launch, features, expected price

French popular car maker Citroen is going to launch its small SUV Citroen C3 in June. The look and features of the Citroen C3 have already been released. A strong and stylish looking vehicle has all the advanced features. The C3 is not an SUV, but rather a raised hatchback along with being more of a crossover. The C3 will be the second product after the C5 Aircross and will be made in India with aggressive localization. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Citroen C3 Exterior

In terms of design, the Citroen C3 will feature the signature split headlamp design divided by a two-slat chrome grille and a secondary hexagonal-shaped grille. The dual-tone bumpers will get faux brushed aluminium skid plates. Also on offer will be contrasting orange accents on the front bumper, ORVMs, and side cladding. A few other notable elements will include dual-tone alloy wheels, wrap-around LED tail lights, and a conventional antenna.

Inside, the Citroen C3 will feature a dual-tone interior, while the black dashboard will be complemented by a large orange coloured insert. Feature-wise, the model will get a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument console, a flat-bottom steering wheel with steering-mounted controls, and silver accents on the dashboard.

Citroen Engine and Performance

The Citroen C3 could be offered with a 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine. It is believed that it can be offered for the first time in India with a flex-fuel engine. However, it will be known only in the coming time which engine options can be seen in it. This car can be offered with 5-speed manual and DCT automatic transmission options.

Experts say that the price of Citroen C3 car can start from Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
