At present, Gurbani from Darbar Sahib is being telecast only on PTC, which is monopolized by Sukhbir Badal family. For a long time, other TV channels and religious organizations have been demanding that everyone should get the right to broadcast Gurbani, but this was not done. PTC which is a TV channel owned by Sukhbir Badal is the only one who has got the rights to broadcast Gurbani.
