Coachella 2024: Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has revealed its artist lineup for its 23rd Installment of the festival scheduled from 12-14 April and 19-21 April. The list features the K-pop boy band Ateez marking a monumental win for the K-pop industry. The South Korean boy band has written history to become the first-ever K-pop band to perform at one of the largest and most popular music festivals.

Ateez’s historic milestone

Hongjoong, Seongwha, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho have been a part of the boy band ‘Ateez’ for five years since their debut in October 2018, and have achieved many milestones together. Their last album, THE WORLD EP. FIN: WILL became their first album to top the US Billboard 200 chart and has remained on chart top for the fifth week straight.

Ateez’s big win is not just a win for the band, but also a win for the K-pop industry has been making strides in the International entertainment space with substantial performance. K-pop’s contagious vocals and revved-up dance moves have earned them the love and respect of the audience across the world with numerous opportunities to recognize their art.

J-hope's debut at Lollapalooza 2023 was another historic moment for the K-pop world as he became the first South Korean artist to headline a major US festival, and now Ateez is all set to get their industry another feather in its hat.
