Here are some of the common symptoms which one should not ignore if they are 40 above.
Need more Light and brightness to see things clearly or work.
Difficulty reading closely or doing work which needs closer vision.
Problems with a glare and focus.
Changes in color perception.
Reduced tear production or suffering from dry eyes.
The common age-related eye problems which affect people include presbyopia, glaucoma, dry eyes, age-related macular degeneration, cataracts and temporal arteritis. Here are the symptoms of common eye related problems including Glaucoma and Cataract.
Age-related macular degeneration: Blurred vision, image distortion, central scotoma, difficulty reading.
Glaucoma: Visual field loss, blurred vision (late).
Cataract: Blurred vision, glare, monocular diplopia.
Diabetic retinopathy: Blurred vision, floaters, visual field loss, poor night vision.
Eat nutritious food that improves eye health like vitamin a.
Avoid smoking or alcohol.
Do exercise or yoga to keep your body fit.
Perform eye exercise.
Get your eyes checked every six months.
Rinse your eyes 3-4 times a day especially after you wake up in the morning.
Avoid using your phone in a dark room.
Use night more on screens.
