The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the highest honor given to filmmakers in India. The Directorate of Film Festivals, an organization established by the Ministry of Communication and Broadcasting, presents it each year at the National Film Awards ceremony. The prize includes a medallion known as the Swarna Kamal (Golden Lotus), a shawl, and Rs 1,000,000 in cash. At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023, which were presented on Monday at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were the highlight of the ceremony.
