18 Apr, 2023

Corona cases in Delhi have been steadily rising, and as a result, hospitals are now seeing more Corona patients. Despite this, authorities think that things are in order. All age groups are contracting the disease. For the majority of people, symptoms are not noticeable. In such a case, concerns are being voiced about whether this corona is still as deadly as the last. Is a booster dose sufficient to prevent it? Do Corona victims include children?

The risk of COVID-19 in Children

Dr. Suresh Kumar, the medical director of LNJP Hospital, reported that of the 19 patients admitted, 2 are minors. He stated that two of the four kids who had been admitted for treatment up until this point had been released. Dr. Arun Gupta, a pediatrician, also noted that while there is currently less corona in kids, influenza is also to blame for increased fever, colds, and coughs. The doctor claimed that because the symptoms were so minor, further testing was not necessary. Covid has no known treatment, and youngsters do not even require care. In four to five days, children are recuperating on their own.

Delhi Corona Update

There are now 330 Covid patients being treated at hospitals in Delhi. Five of the six patients admitted to Safdarjung Hospital are in the intensive care unit. In the ICU at GTB, there are 7 patients. Five patients have been admitted to RML’s ICU. According to medical professionals, the corona infection is still spreading and will probably do so for the next few days. Since it is currently impossible to completely foresee this virus, preventive is preferable. As much as you can, conceal your face. Wear a mask if you plan to enter a crowded area or a hospital.
