The Indian government is working hard to avoid the corona virus infection, which is rapidly increasing. The Union Health Ministry has urged the states and union territories to be ready for anything while tightening the Covid Guidelines.
One of the government's most recent initiatives is the early detection of novel coronavirus variants and efforts to avoid illnesses brought on by those variants. The administration has chosen to concentrate on this in light of the rise of corona cases around the world, according to officials informed of the situation.
Under the current Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP), which keeps track of all cases in the nation, the government wants to completely adopt Covid-surveillance. All state and district surveillance officials will be participating in surveillance in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, the official said.
Data from the Union Health Ministry indicates that 173 new cases of covid-19 were recorded on Monday, bringing the total number of active cases down to 2,670. The overall number of covid cases during the past 24 hours has been 4.46 crore (4,46,78,822), while the mortality toll has been 5.30,707, with one death each reported from Kerala and Uttarakhand.
