COVID-19 News: The rising number of coronavirus cases in the country has raised concerns about a possible pandemic. The health ministry is on high alert and is continuously monitoring the situation in every state. The number of current COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 3,961. According to data issued by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, four people have died as a result of COVID-19 in the country in the last 24 hours. Since Sunday, one patient has died in Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Kerala, respectively.
Since January of this year, the country has seen 32 deaths due to COVID-19. Despite the increase in corona cases, health professionals say there is no reason to panic because the infection is not deadly. Cases are increasing due to novel subvariants NB.1.8.1 and LF.7, yet the majority of patients are receiving home care. This time, hospitals will not be burdened by corona, but caution should be exercised.
