Crime GPT: UP Police Launches Trinetra 2.0 to Record Criminals’ Data

CrimeGPT: The Uttar Pradesh Police has recently released a new AI tool named CrimeGPT, which can find the records of more than 9.32 lakh prisoners. Earlier, UP Police was using Trinetra. CrimeGPT is the upgraded version of Trinetra. With its use, the police will be able to catch criminals as soon as possible, while its use will be done by the inspector and the above rank officers. 

What is CrimeGPT?

In collaboration with STEC Technology, the UP Police made the CrimeGPT app, which will be run on Android and iOS mobile apps and a web dashboard on the computer. CrimeGPT is being used to update the crime history, FIR details, audio, photograph, in-app, jail-in, jail-out details, and seizure details of criminals. While the crime history will be generated by the QR code generated by the missing items from the past of the criminals, the police will be able to easily get information about the seized items in any district.
