Tomorrow ,i.e, October 19, is the last day of form submission for the CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET). Interested Candidates can register themselves on ctet.nic.in , the official website, to apply for the CTET 2021 Application.
Application Fee can be paid till October 20,2021 by 03:30 pm. From October 22,2021, the CTET Application form correction window will open till October 28,2021.
The CTET Exam will be conducted between December 16 to January 13,2022, in computer-based mode in two shifts with each shift of 2:30 hours duration.
There will be two exams of CTET, both in Multiple Choice Questions format,with each question having four alternatives, out of which one correct option has to be chosen. There will be no negative marking and each question will carry 1 mark.
The CTET qualifying certificate will be valid throughout lifetime and there is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can make to get the CTET Qualifying certificate.
CTET Exam will be conducted at two levels:
Paper 1 for Primary classes(Classes I - V) and Paper 2 for Upper Primary (Classes VI- VIII).
Paper 1 will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Science. Similarly, Paper II will also include 150 questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science or Social Science. Both the papers will be of 2:30 hours duration and upon qualifying the examination, the candidate will receive the CTET Qualifying certificate.
The application fee for general category candidates who wish to apply for one paper is Rs. 1000/- and for SC/ST Category is Rs. 500/-. For the UR Candidates who wish to apply for both the papers, the fee is Rs. 1200/- and for reserved category, it is Rs. 600/-
