Every year on September 21, people all across the world mark the International Day of Peace (also known as "Peace Day"). Peace Day, which was established in 1981 by a majority United Nations resolution, offers a day on which all of mankind can agree to put peace above all other considerations and work toward fostering a culture of peace. Gujarati film ‘Chhello Show’ becomes India’s official entry for Oscars 2023

India's official entry for the 95th Academy Awards or Oscars is the Gujarati film "Chhello Show," a coming-of-age drama about a young boy's love of cinema in a village in Saurashtra, according to the Film Federation of India (FFI). The Pan Nalin-directed movie, titled "Last Film Show" in English, will debut in theatres across the nation on October 14. The 95th Academy Awards are slated to take place in Los Angeles on March 12, 2023.
 

Kazakhstan to change name of capital from Nur-sultan back to Astana

Just three years after renaming the nation's capital in honour of his predecessor, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has consented to change it back to its original name, according to a spokesperson. Ruslan Zheliban, Tokayev's spokesman, claimed that the president approved the name change following a proposal from several MPs.
