RBI appoints P Vasudevan as new executive director

P. Vasudevan has been chosen by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to serve as executive director. His hiring is in effect as of July 3, 2023. Vasudevan will oversee the Department of Currency Management, Corporate Strategy and Budget Department (Areas other than that of Budget & Funds), and Enforcement Department, according to a release from the Reserve Bank. Vasudevan served as the Department of Payment and Settlement Systems' Chief General Manager before being elevated to the position of executive director.

Netherlands men team wins second FIH Hockey Pro League title

The men's Netherlands team wins the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022–23 season with 35 points as they complete their fourth season of play. With this victory, Netherlands successfully defended their first title, gained in the competition last year, becoming the first team in the men's competition to do so.With 30 points from 16 games, the Indian men's hockey team placed fourth in the FIH Pro League 2022–23.
