The Reserve Bank of India kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.5%

The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) Monetary Policy Committee has held the policy repo rate at 6.5% unaltered. The MPC has maintained the repo rate steady for the third time in a row. Previously, no changes were made during the June 2023 meeting. The RBI chairs the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), which was established by the central government.  

Mulyo Handoyo has been appointed as the sole head coach of Badminton Association of India's Guwahati National Center of Excellence

Other instructors have been appointed to the Badminton Association of India's (BAI) new National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati. Mulyo Handoyo of Indonesia has been appointed as the team's lone coach. Russia's former All England champion Ivan Sozonov has been designated doubles coach, and PV Sindhu's former coach Park Tae Sang has been named the third foreign coach.
