The 145 nations were ranked by the Global Firepower Index. Based on protracted military offensive and defensive campaigns, the nations were rated. The calculation of the Global Firepower Index takes into account fifty different variables, ranging from geography to logistical capacity.Manpower, land forces, air forces, natural resources, naval forces, logistics, and finances are also included.The overall population, paramilitaries, those who enter military age each year, active reserves, and active services are taken into account while calculating manpower. 

 

The senior Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships 2023, which begin on Wednesday at Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida, India, will be led by former Asian champion Jhilli Dalabehera and include a 20-member Indian team. Indian weightlifters will also compete in the junior and young weightlifting events at the 2023 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships.
