France’s highest award 'Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour' was awarded to PM Modi

PM Modi has received France's highest honour, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received this honour from French President Emmanuel Macron. PM Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to get this accolade. Egypt bestowed the 'Order of the Nile' on PM Modi in June 2023. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal has become the 17th Indian to score a century on debut

Yashasvi Jaiswal, India's young opener, has become the third Indian opener to make a century in his first Test innings. Previously, the Indian team's openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw accomplished this feat. He is now the 17th Indian to strike a century on his Test debut. Lala Amarnath became the first Indian batsman to get a century on Test debut in 1933.
