India has become the first country in the world to reach the South Pole of the Moon

India has made history by becoming the first country in the world to place a lander on the Moon's south pole. Vikram Lander recently landed near the Moon's south pole. India has become the fourth country in the world to accomplish a soft landing on the moon with the successful touchdown of Chandrayaan-3. America, China, and the former Soviet Union (now Russia) have all made successful soft moon landings. India has now been included to this list.

Amanpreet Singh has won gold medal at ISSF World Championship 2023 

Amanpreet Singh of India won gold in the men's 25m standard pistol shooting event at the ISSF World Championship 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan. India now has a total of nine medals, including five gold and four bronze medals.
