First IIT campus outside India to come up in Tanzania’s Zanzibar

Following the signing of an agreement between the education authorities of the two nations during the visit of external affairs minister S. Jaishankar to the African nation, the first Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) campus outside the country would be established in Tanzania. Additionally, the action is in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which states that "high performing Indian universities will be encouraged to set up campuses in other countries."

Lallianzuala Chhangte wins AIFF Men’s Footballer of the Year award for 2022-23

Lallianzuala Chhangte, a midfielder for the Indian football team, was awarded the AIFF Men's Footballer of the Year for 2022–23, and Manisha Kalyan received the title for Women's Footballer of the Year for the second year in a row. In order to win the prize, the 26-year-old Lallianzuala Chhangte defeated East Bengali competitors Nandhakumar Sekar and Naorem Mahesh Singh. Lallianzuala Chhangte won the prize as a result of his outstanding performances for his club, Mumbai City FC, and the Indian national team. During the 2022–23 season, the winger made 12 appearances for the national team, contributing one assist and two goals.
