India’s First Underwater Train Trial 

By passing under the tunnel beneath the Hooghly River on Wednesday, the Kolkata Metro achieved a first for the nation. The only passengers on the metro rake for its inaugural trip from Howrah Maidan to Esplanade were officials and engineers. Terming it an historic event, Metro Railway general manager P Uday Kumar Reddy said: “Trial runs between Howrah Maidan and Esplanade station will be conducted for the next five to seven months, following which regular services on this stretch will begin.”
 

Jagan Reddy tops the List of richest CMs

According to poll affidavits examined by the Association for Democratic Reforms, Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has a total worth of 510 crore rupees, making him the wealthiest chief minister in the nation.
