India will once again host the Miss World contest after nearly three decades. In 1996, Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru hosted the final event. The choice of India as the host nation is attributed by the organisers to the nation's rich cultural legacy, dedication to encouraging diversity, and passion for empowering women.  The news was confirmed by Julia Morley, chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organisation. 

 

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, and Amazon Kisan inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine their respective strengths and create synergy for the purpose of assisting farmers in the scientific production of various crops for maximum yield and income. Through Amazon's network, ICAR will offer the farmers technical support. Crop yield will increase, and it will enhance farmers' livelihoods. Consumers across India will have access to high-quality fresh vegetables thanks to this MoU in a farmer collaboration, including through Amazon Fresh.
