Australia crowned ICC World Test Champions 

Australia defeated India in the WTC Final at The Oval by a score of 209 runs to gain the title of World Test Champion. Early on, Australia had the upper hand in the Test thanks to outstanding first-innings centuries from Travis Head and Steve Smith. However, India rallied to force the game to a fifth day, falling short of what would have been an all-time record chase to win a Test when they were bowled out for 234.With two early dismissals in the day, Scott Boland set the tone for Australia's rout of India and victory in the World Test Championship. Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc also contributed to the success. 
 

Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2023 hockey 

On Saturday in Kakamigahara, Japan, the Indian hockey team defeated Japan 1-0 to go to the Women's Junior Asia Cup 2023 final.Sunelita Toppo scored the game's lone goal in the 46th minute.After making it to the summit match in 2012, the win guarantees that the Indian side will play in the Women's Junior Asia Cup final for the second time.India had also qualified for the 2023 FIH Junior Hockey Women's World Cup thanks to the victory. That tournament will take place in Santiago, Chile, from November 29 to December 10.
