First Women's Kabaddi League Inaugurated in Dubai
The first-ever Women's Kabaddi League (WKL) for India began on June 16 in Dubai with much enthusiasm. Women's kabaddi players from all across India will have the chance to showcase their talent and prowess for the first time ever in this historic event. There are eight teams in the competition, each with 96 players that represent different Indian states. The Delhi Dynamites, Gujarat Angels, Great Marathas, Haryana Hustlers, Punjab Panthers, Rajasthan Riders, Uma Kolkata, and Bengaluru Hawks are just a few of the teams that hold the names of different states.
Pune Hosts G20 National Conference
In Pune, the second day of the national conference on foundational literacy and numeracy was held. The purpose of the conference was to bring together experts from many fields and representatives from all the States and UTs to discuss "Capacity building and training of teachers in blended mode."
Prof. Suresh Gosavi, Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Shri Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education, and a number of other top representatives from the Ministry of Education and State Education Departments also attended the event.
